Pictures and words can not do justice to this day.  We rode from Lillooet down to Squamish through the most beautiful emerald lakes, along crystal blue glacial rivers, and through river-carved canyons topped with geological wonders.  How fitting that I ran out of film and my camcorder broke for this section of the trip!

Here you can see the view through the windshield as we travel along the rails that have been blasted into the rock wall just south of Lillooet.  That mountain continues down to the bottom of the lake - about 600 feet deep.  We were told they have lost engines that have derailed on this section of track.  In the distance you can see the snow capped peaks - even in August.
